To make the time lapse video of the duck pond we first had to change all the settings in the camera. We shot on Programming. The we change the shot interval to 4 seconds for 45 minutes. Once the 45 minutes were done we uploaded the time lapse to iMovie. Then we added a title and sound effects through iTunes. This was a fun project I would like to do this again but in a more populated place to have more action in the video.

This field trip was to Balboa Park and we visited the brand new Museum of Photographic Arts. We learned about Irving Penn and his art. He captured still life photographs while implementing a drop of poison in each photo. During the workshop we had to choose props to use and create a still life like Irving Penn while also placing a drop of poison or two juxtaposing items. I learned a lot about the life and history of Irving Penn. I really enjoyed the field trip and the freedom to shoot whatever we wanted.
To make the focal point gif you have to take photos of the same subject at different zoom angles. Start at the widest angle and make sure that the subject is in the same part of the frame for all angles. Then upload all the photos into a stack and turn it into a video with .2 sec intervals. Then resize and line up each photo on top of another. Save the video as an mp4. I decided to emulate a Time magazine because of how popular the magazines are. I like the magazine because only the most famous people in the country feature on the cover, such as the President. To emulate the cover I pasted the Time logo and copied the layout by using times new roman font and red and white writing to let the important words standout. I want to be a certified bread getter because that means that I will be rich and live an easy lavish life. I took photos of the Boys Varsity Basketball team. I enjoyed taking photos for the team. I shot with a high shutter speed and high ISO. The best shots that I got were of the group huddles and the players on the bench pay close attention to the game. The hardest part of taking photos in a gym is the lighting. Getting close up shots of the players were hard on shutter priority because the photos often turned out to be too dark when I would zoom in. Other than that I had a fun time watching the game and taking photos of the team.
Aperture f/5.3 ISO 3200 Shutter Speed 1/60 To take these pictures we set up a tripod in front of the board allowing for the projector to be placed in front of the subject in in order to project an image on their face. The pictures that I decided to use were neon light photos because they were very vibrant. I like my photos because the projected image cam out very bright but the silhouette of the model was still visible. In the bottom of the photo I chose to place a baseball and a basketball because they are my favorite sports to play. Baseball is my passion and I have been playing since I was 4. The nike sign is in the middle because it is my favorite brand. The Oklahoma City Thunder and Washington Nationals are placed because they are my two favorite sports teams. The next level is food. Sushi, fried chicken and donut ice cream sandwiches are my three favorite foods. The top is the Filipino flag. I am a quarter Filipino and I am proud to show it. In order to make the HDR panorama you have to adjust your camera to 5 different exposure settings (-1.0, -0.5, 0.0, 0.5, and 1.0). After you need to split up your image into 5 sections. for each section you will take 5 pictures; using the different exposures. Once you have done that to all 5 sections of the photo you can upload them to photoshop. Go to file; Merge to HDR for each five photos; Once that is done go back to File; Photomerge and select the 5 HDR photos to turn into a panorama. I learned that the most important part of taking panoramas is to make sure the camera does not move and stays on the same plane to make sure the photo is even. The multiple people artwork depicts the different feelings and emotions someone can feel. The person in the photo is looking back on how they have felt through out their life. The person on the far right is confidence. The one sitting down under the scoreboard is defeat. The person on the phone is confusion. The last person is calm Signature - This is Lucas . He's been my best friend since the third grade. However, Lucas isn't an ordinary teenager. He was diagnosed with Epilepsy when he was 11. Epilepsy is a neurological disorder marked by sudden recurrent episodes of sensory disturbance, loss of consciousness, or convulsions. Close Up - Lucas lives life like any other teenager but has a few things that sets him apart from the rest. Lucas has had two brain surgeries this year, both within only a few months of each other. In the morning, after he eats and at night before he goes to bed, he takes his medication; Some of them are for his epilepsy and some are for his general health. |
