1. RAW is important because you are allowed to capture higher quality images than when shooting in jpeg.
2. When shooting in RAW you are able to record all the data from the sensor, which gives you the highest quality files. 3. By shooting in RAW you are able to edit how you would like the photos to turn out and produce much better results. 4. RAW allows editing of the whites in the photo to be much more easier, leading to better results. 5. Shooting in RAW lets you edit the sharpness and noise of the photo in programs like photoshop. 6. When editing in photoshop with a RAW file you will never ruin the photo. By using RAW the files are edited to show what the jpeg file should look like. 7. With a RAW file you have all the additional exposure information in the file, so it is much easier to adjust and over or under-exposed photo. 8. With RAW you can choose from any color space you are exporting it out from. This means you can make quick edits depending on the situation. 9. Lightroom is one program that makes it easier to edit photos in batches especially when shooting in RAW. 10. When shooting in RAW you are able to take control and can manage the problems with the photos to get the best results. I took this photo with my Iphone 8 plus. This is a photo of a pink and yellow rose at the University of California Berkeley. This is my favorite photo that I have taken because it captures a variety of vibrant colors of the rose.
