Marco PhotographySoft/Hard Light The top two pictures involve hard light(direct sunlight on the subject) you can tell because there are very bright focal points of the flower. The bottom two pictures involve soft light( indirect light on the subject). The two flowers on the bottom were in the shade with little sunlight, making the flowers darker than what they would be in the sun's light. Water Splash/Droplets Nature Abstracts

Holly Ireland taught us a bunch of new tips and techniques when photographing dancers. She showed us the various light angles and positions around the set that could make the dancer look more dramatic with the way the light creates a shadow on their body. She also told us to not have the dancer hold a position for too long because the dancers will be uncomfortable. Photographing jumps are the hardest. The timing is the real challenge to make sure the picture is perfect. Overall, Holly was a great teacher and she taught not only me but the whole class a lot on dance photography.
